the life and times of Alberto Einstein Perez.

 Alberto is a gardener from southern California by way of Bogota, Colombia.  He is no Einstein but he likes to think so and tells all who listen"  I am Einstein"  why?  some of the fellows who know him were curious.  Well, he said" I can assemble a valve for the irrigation system. " who did you learn it?"  " i learned all alone, like standing all alone, like the song.  I saw it assembled so I did it the way it was assemble and that is true"  fellows who were there were busy getting free coffee or not so free at McDonald.  they get the refill and senior discount.  some of those Latin guys talk a lot as if they were inside the white house and had all the inside information.  they had nothing and here gardener Alberto had some experiences he had assemble out there in the world of lawnmower, blowers, and weedkillers.   he said that " no science to the handling of a garden:  you see all the weeds growing, you can stop the photosynthesis process by wee

how to get rid of weeds. The best way, my friend, is to  go ahead, and pull them out.  when you see them, pull them out.  That way they will never get a chance to grow and proliferate  in your garden, right.  You want to have the garden free of weeds.  you don't need a fancy garden as long you have a tight garden. what I mean by that, is that as long all shrubs are clean, the dirt is rake up, there is no weeds, I feel, that in my expert opinion, you are doing fabously. other ways to get rid of weeds are: vinegar mix with water, dish soap mix with water, hot water and that is easy, papers and two layers of it, mulch, old shower curtain.  thank you so much for your added support.  Take care.

 the gardener journal.   It is the life of a gardener not a botanist.  I cut grass all day and pruned some flowers today.  I was at the house of some smart single woman who is so smart that hire other group to add plants to her front lawn and some small rocks around the new plants.  the type of rocks she had lain down around her new plant material was , or it is now, river rock pebbles.  they look polish and shiny.  her front lawn or next to her walk is filled with those rocks. In certain areas  as you go along, plants were added: agave attenuatas,  feather reed grass, festuca glauca.  She had it repeat along the walk way leading to her fancy door, what they called standard pensacola Glass door.   along the wall that hugs the neighbor's yard, the outfit, added the same type rocks and same pattern of repetition of plant material.   They had to add another valve for a drip irrigation type of  watering.  it looks way much better than before, and she got rid of the barbecue pit, and fi
